Advocated at the policy level and succeeded in extending paid maternity leave for working women of Bangladesh

1. Organized advocacy workshops and seminars;
2. Established crèches and 12 lactation management corners at hospitals;
3. Helped the department of Women and Children Affairs to establish day-care
centres;
4. Disseminated the maternity leave rules amongst the working mother;
5. Organized TOT for NNP Upazila Managers and Field Supervisors on Mother
Support Group Formation for the sustenance of breastfeeding.
